Ok. The inauguration is over. All went off fairly well, even though the crowd's were exactly half of the numbers the news media were rambling they would be, and over 5000 of Obama's own campaign volunteers WITH TICKETS were refused entry into the inauguration. But hey. They apologized and said they would look into the problem and have it remedied......for the 2012 election. Ahhh, what's another 5000 under the bus, eh?
Being an evangelical Christian (albeit one with the occasional potty mouth. I'm a humble work in progress) I am fighting the temptation to give the left a taste of what it feels like to constantly read and hear crap like, "Chimpy McBushitler" and other nasty, derogatory, and very stupid things they called former President Bush. I was thinking about referring to President Barack Obama as President B.O., or if he really does something that torques me off, just call him Stinky. But then I would be just like the whining, sniveling, Che worshippers at the Daily Koz, wouldn't I? Even though this has gotten we conservatives absolutely NOWHERE everytime we've practiced it, I going to be respectful and take the high road...for now.
But what I wanted to address is quite a bit more insidious and sinister. It's the sudden rise in racism against those of us with less melanin in their skin, in it's more or less covert stages, that is surrounding the new administration. Now while it has not reared it's ugly head within the new administration, the fact that Obama comes with some of this baggage (remember his pastor, the right racist Rev. Wright?) gives one pause to wonder if this is going to continue, or even accelerate with the new administration. I am well aware that racism has been a part of our dark past in America. And I am also well aware of some of the things suffered by blacks under white governance some 40 YEARS AGO. Mr. Obama himself pledged to unite the nation as Americans..not whites, blacks, hispanics, asians, etc., but one nation (they don't like "Under God" in Libland, but they'll have to answer for that later..not me.), so why is it Barack Obama is surrounding himself with people who make statements like this:

You may get caught up in a repeat performance of the I-35 disaster, but as you plunge you can meet your maker with your family knowing that the substandard roadway that just collapsed beneath you was built by substandard, undereducated labor, you can feel better that they got a paycheck for the disaster they built and not that evil white contractor. What's even more funny is that the skilled labor unions said absolutely nothing about this comment.

I don't know if it's white guilt, a need to play nice with the world or what; but no matter what it is, you can be sure of one thing; The Barack Obama presidency will go down in history as a raving success. The only thing that would stop that is if he did something so overtly heinous that the media, whom loves everything about him, would have to report something bad about him. They are two vested. They are all committed now. The first black president cannot fail. He will not. They will be sure of it. He will go down in history as a legend, and stories will be fabricated about him just like Washington and Lincoln. I always thought it would be Reagan up there among the greats, and he deserved it, defeating Soviet communism, but it will never come to pass. The next face to appear on Mount Rushmore will be that of the 44th president. Hide and watch.

Well, I've spent enough time depressed about our "Republican" venture into socialism, followed by our election of the first pro-communist, pro-islamist president in history. I've been informed by my blog friends ( I keep them on a retainer), and rightly so, that it's time to stop lamenting about it, and get off of my butt and get busy exposing the new liberal circus in power for what it's going to be....a long painful ride into totalitarianism.
So I'm investigating this upsurge in social end-stage syphillis that we call liberalism, and I realize that the disease is not contained to The Beltway, but has popped up all over Uncle Sugar's carcass! A blogger friend of mine...Endangered In Massachusetts, one of the few conservatives left in that state (I'm proud to say i know all three personally!) sent me a link about the Gestapo like shenanigans going on with the powers that be there, along with his comments:

Did you see this story? The city of Edwardsville, AL, that has a population of 194 has asked for 375 million dollars in bailout aid to convert them to "green" technology. Of course, the mayor of said town argues that actually does not amount to over 2 million dollars per resident, but actually more like $4690 per person, as this "greening" will actually benefit or impact up to 80,000 rural resudents, how he came up with that number or how it's going to benefit them he's not stated in congruent sentences. The twenty-first century version of the Roman breadline spreads like a cancer, even in areas where you thought people had more walking around sense!
Speaking of no walking around sense, I see the 111thcircus Congress is now in session, and they wasted no time in going right to work. Did they pass the nation-crippling stimulus package that the Obamessiah has been carping about from his fashionable podium with the emblazoned "OFFICE OF THE PRESEDENT ELECT" on it? Nope. have they drafted any legislation, god or bad, dealing with the Middle east? Nope. No, their priorities are in order; their first order of business was to change the rules to restrict the number of motions that the minority party could offer:

So I'm back in the saddle for more frivolity and laughs than conservatives deserve. After all, we asked for this by voting the linguini-spined conservatives we got into office the last go round. While we circle the bowl I think we ought to laugh at this madness - laugh to keep from crying.

I held her hand as she took her last breath...
For some unknown reason at the time, I took a rare Friday off from work. I rarely do that, but something told me I needed a three day weekend. I now think that something was someone...that someone was God.
I am a firm believer that He (God for you heathens) knows what's best for us. That Friday, October 3rd, 2008, God knew that I would need to be home to hold the hand of a dying friend. he knew I had to hold the hand of a great love of mine - Lady liberty - because I watched in horror as she took her last dying breaths at approximately 1 PM the very same day. She was a grand gal, and the pill that killed her was called HR1424, or as it is now called by most folks, the Wall Street Bailout Bill.
Now, before you dismiss me as a sentimental nutcase, please read on. In the end, you may still call me a nut, but you'll know I'm telling the truth - the truth that in Congress Friday, our country changed from a representative republic, to a socialist republic, due to the passage of that one bill, HR1424, and no matter what the talking heads and pundits tell you, they know it as well. Here's why...
The bill gave near Czar powers to the Secretary of the Treasury. Despite the changes to the original bill that mandated Congressional oversight at 250 billion dollar increments, the bill (I'm sorry. I will call it a law now that George The Lame has hurriedly signed it into law.) the LAW specifically states that assets purchased may be disclosed to Congress in confidence, denying the public to what exactly their money has purchased, and doing an end-run around the Freedom of Information Act. The other fact that many don't know, is that this new law, while it puts a cap of 700 billion dollars on government ownership of any assets, be they toxic, be they mortgages, or whatever , it states the key words, "AT ANY ONE TIME", which, my new comrades, means as long as they stay under the 700 billion dollar cap, they can stay in the financial markets indefinitely, as there is no expiration on the law. this means when they liquidate an asset, they can belly back up to the bar and fill the cup back up to 700 billion dollars. This effectively socializes the financial markets, which we all know is the lifeblood of our capitalist society. We will not have toxic assets forever, and as we know about power - it corrupts - and politicians will start buying other assets - banks - properties, etc., because the law states, "as the Secretary of the Treasury deems necessary." Well, again this is with Congressional oversight. We have other agencies that have Congressional oversight - Freddie Mac - Fannie Mae - see how that worked out?
You did catch the part about the Fed owning mortgages, didn't you? Yours? Mine? Who knows? We won't! One thing I do know is that while there are laws governing the conduct of mortgage holders and what they can stipulate as to your conduct on the property mortgaged, the government, because it makes the laws, has no such restrictions. This opens the door for so many ills; because your mortgage may now be held by the government, the ACLU (or pick any of a myriad of America haters) could charge that having a Bible, Torah, etc., could be a violation of the separation of church and state. All they need is the right Judge! It could be, that in the future, you may be required to have NPR piped throughout your prospective dream home, where the drone of patriotic songs could be heard amongst the tributes to President Obamessiah. Sound far fetched? Maybe, but now, that big brother scenario is one less hurdle away from reality!
Finally, the most telling tale about this saga, and the most troubling, is the blatant disregard for the will of it's constituency exhibited by BOTH houses of Congress while ramrodding this bypassing of the Constitution down our throats. It has been been said that on the floor of the Senate (It could be an urban legend in the making, I admit.) someone shouted, "Constitution? We don't need no stinkin' Constitution!" I don't doubt it. Anyway, I digress. Surveys found that the people of what was the United States of America overwhelmingly rejected the bailout plan in both its, first, second, and third forms. Yet, a panic-stricken (maybe) Secretary of the Treasury alerted the biggest tool of a lame-duck president in recent memory, who in turn got a power hungry Congress into rare work mode, and despite the constant calls, emails, and faxes, they passed this nation changing piece of garbage! This is the most troubling event of the whole episode. They ignored us! Blatantly! Even Lindsey Graham said (I'm paraphrasing) that he was inundated by calls and letters against the bailout, but that sometime an elected official had to go against the will of the people to do the right thing. They right thing??!! Lindsey, the "right thing" to do would have been to let our country remain a representative republic instead of you deciding arbitrarily what's " best for us". That flushing sound you heard Friday was our representation going down the crapper! Now they can do it with impunity, and I promise you it will become more regular. Welcome to the socialist nanny state.
So, I watched the vote, and as it finished they all applauded, and I started to weep. I couldn't help but think about that Natalie Portman line as Queen Amadala in Star Wars as the senate handed over power to Darth Sidious. She looked at her costar, Jimmy Smits, and said, "So this is how liberty dies. To thunderous applause."
My youngest brother and I are both combat veterans. He is still active, and follows politics closely like I do. So I sent him a text message..."Welcome to the USSA". To which he responded, "Amen. Welcome to the New Socialist America. the beginning of the end of free enterprise and democracy". Then he called me, and we shed some needed tears together. he said, "The ironic thing is that I'm sworn to work for and protect the very same government that may one day kick in my door and haul me away." We said our goodbyes, and as I hung up, I though about the blood soaked beaches of Normandy - for people who have never really appreciated it - and now how it really seemed to be so much loss of life in vain.
I will come back from this death, as will others. I have beautiful friends who remind me on the indomitable American spirit and to not give up the fight. I won't, but the truth is that only one time in our history have we fought an internal enemy, and we have NEVER fought one in our capitol on their terms and won. I have never seen an occasion where the fed relinquished power once they've acquired it, so this is at best a battle against all odds. At worst? the United Socialist States of America.
I will not give up, but this internal struggle in our country may in the end only be resolved with bloodshed, I'm afraid. the will of the people is severely wounded, and this struggle is the equivalent of an asthmatic who wants to climb Mount Everest. I never thought I would see this happen to my beautiful country, at least in my lifetime. Right now, city hall in Reagan's "Shining City on a Hill", is ablaze.
I thank God for the beauty that was, though. It was a very, very beautiful dream.

You Can Almost Smell the Desparation!!
It's been a big week on the campaign trail. I've been so busy following this election that my postings are late...very late!
To be honest, I haven't been so all-fired interested so much in John McCain ascending to the highest office in the country that I love so much (I have held nothing back at my distaste for him as a candidate) as I have thwarting the stealth plans for a communist sympathizer ( see -http://www.aim.org/aim-column/obamas-communist-mentor/ ) and friend of anti-American radicals (William Ayers..just Google "Weather Underground") to "change" this country in the same way Castro and Chavez "changed" theirs. At NO time in our history has a presidential candidate had so many ties to so many people who hate America! My motivation has been to defeat this stealth candidate..until McCain had a momentary breath of sanity and nominated a REAL REGULAR AMERICAN as his VP pick! I, like many conservatives have something to look forward to; I for one am hoping that McCain only opts for one term and the reigns of the country can be turned over to someone closer to middle America. One can hope, can't he?
The most striking thing I see since Sarah Palin was nominated as McCain's running mate is this; Can you believe the clamour and the scrambling to discredit this woman by the Obama camp AND the MSM??!! It has become frantic, frenzied and very desparate. After all, the Obamessiah has tanked 10 points this week in the polls (That's one helluva post GOP convention "bump"!) and 15 points among independent likeley voters, with some poll saying he's now lost 20 percent of his support among women!! Astounding! Outstanding!!
Here's just a few of the funny, yet desparate attempts to skewer this lady:

This is so damn funny, considering Hillary won't say a word about her (she knows her own party sold her out and sees an opportunity to defeat Obama) and Geraldine Feraro has hinted that she might not tow the party line! Seems to me Joe, that if that's the case, then how far back did your party push women by not even nominating one? Hell! She wasn't even considered!
- Govenor David Patterson ( You know..the lucky shmuck who looks like a cross-eyed, short -haired shoe-bombing Richard Reed who just happened to be at the right place at the right time!) said..again just today mind you...that calling Obama a "community organizer" was code for calling him black! Hunh!? What the!?? Who knew?? Well, by that I guess the Dems think Jesus is black because of last weeks Dem response that "Jesus was a community organizer."
- On top of all of this niceness, MTV hires a Brittish hitman (he's gotta be that because calling that cross-dresser a comedian was a stretch even Manute Bol couldn't reach!) who not only skewers a sitting president (who gives them a ton of reasons, I'll admit) but makes some fowl and lewd comments about Sarah Palin, even offending some other MTV guests. But hey! We all knew they were carrying water for the jackasses anyway.
Wow. this in just 24 hours. I haven't even touched the surface of the viscious attacks the Obama camp is making AGAINST PALIN...NOT McCAIN!! Why? Because he can't beat her! Middle American...the ones clinging to guns and religion...like the hell out of the girl! I even wanted a bumper sticker that said, "McCain hell!! Palin for President!" The white folks that David Patterson, Rev. Wright and others on the Obama bus (be careful! it's ran over several already!) have maligned for now 18 months have come out of their malaise and now like what they see! And I guess they forgot, but we're still the majority, and we realize we don't have to be guilted into voting for someone who will destroy our democracy from the inside, no matter what damn color he is!! And NOW the chickens have come home to roost......
What you're seeing, my friends, and that smell you're smelling, is the stench of fear and desparation. Both are signs of weakness. The American people will tolerate a lot in a president (and have), but one thing they won't tolerate is weakness! Don't believe me? How many terms did Jimmy "444 days" Carter serve again?

An open letter to those who have a constant lovefest with the dead bearded guy who liked hanging around The Galapagos
I've been meaning to address this for sometime. It's no secret that I was a longtime poster at Charles Johnson's blog site, Little Green Footballs, and as many of you know, I was subsequently banned for using abusive and uncalled for language towards Charles. I will admit when I'm wrong, as do most real men, and I was. My outbursts were uncalled for and vitriolic. As a practicing Christian ( although one that needs to still work on his language ), I crossed a line, and for that I offer a sincere apology to Charles. To do otherwise would be the height of hypocrisy.
Now, I'm not going to write one of those I apologize but... pieces. My apology has no strings attached; just a simple mea culpa. I would, however, like to take an opportunity to explain why I think I was driven over the edge, and why many of us who left the site recently were ( the majority of us being people of faith).
There has been an ongoing argument for a few months at LGF concerning a visceral hatred by many of the bloggers there, as well as Charles, pinpointed at the creationists ( actually if we use the "racist" moniker, creationists would be an incorrect syntax - that would mean hater of creation) OK...pro-creation proponents' "intelligent design" theories. There were, and are, pro-Darwin advocates there who were, and still are, obsessed with making these believers in an alternate origin look as heinous, as backwards, and as stupid as they possibly could. Only here we have laws CREATED BY US, not The Crown, and so far that very same law has bent over backward to make damn sure that ALL traces of religion are sterilized from the government sector - especially schools! Why would intelligent design be any different?
I am not, I repeat, NOT a proponent of intelligent design. As a matter of fact, I'm one of those strange folks who believes that God might just like to do things in stages; that He just might like things to simmer before they're done. Oh! You don't believe in God? Well, I'm sorry that you're silly that way, but this is not where I want to address your problem. That needs to be done one on one.
This, my friends, was not my fight. I thought it was stupid and a distraction; a divisive issue that drove a wedge between the faithful and the secular, and made us take our eyes off the goal...fighting Islamism. Way to go folks!! You're trying to prove the addage "divided we fall". Many of you fell for this, as I think this was a ruse to draw attention to the blog and increase hits. Everybody loves in-fighting. It's bound to drive those vaunted numbers up, wouldn't it? Beautiful, and all at the expense of a unified front against Islamism. I don't know of many people of faith capable of that kind of vitriolic hatred.
The thing that irritated me so much about this infighting was the one-sided nature of it. The appalling comparisons of IDers to Islamists (damn "ist" suffix); to white supremacists; to Apartheid! And when anyone tried to ask, cajole, or demand that the carnage be stopped, they were either banned, their comments deleted, or they were belittled. But when those of no faith started to ramp up the attacks with statements like calling the Ten Commandments , "those ten stupid idiotic rules", and others just as nasty, there was not one peep from the moderator. Not very moderate, is it?
Oh, I know that there were a few people of faith who said that it wasn't an attack on other faithful; that is was just "heated debate". That was one faithful's opinion, and of course we all know by now the particulars about opinions. Obviously, those opinions were not shared by the myriads of faithful Judeo-Christians who left in disgust at the mean-spirited blog site that LGF had become. Some of it have dubbed this exodus the Diaspora v.2.0.
Finally, I am not going to go through the wasted notion of sharing my faith and beliefs on those who will not be moved one iota. I will not cast my pearls on swine. I do want to share this with you. Those "crazy IDers" that you love to malign so much, have donated MILLIONS of dollars of their own money (you see, many of those fundamentalist nuts you're so afraid of run organizations that are pro-Israel) to keeping the Chosen people - God's people alive and in their homeland. And fighting to destroy those who support Israel is kind of like saying you support the troops, then refusing to fund them! Are you folks really sure which side you're on?

The Irony of It All
So, I'm sitting at home with the Mrs. and one of my three college-aged daughters, enjoying the return of one of our brood to the empty nest for what college kids crave most - free laundry service and a free meal.
As I and my youngest conversed over a game of Scrabble, her asking me pointed questions about the upcoming presidential election, and something hit me like a brick right between the eyes. I was dazed for a moment, never having been smacked by irony before. So I picked up the irony (my daughter had already whipped my butt twice in Scrabble, so I was ready to bow out gracefully) and I started looking at it carefully. It was really amazing; I mean the convoluted, multifaceted nature of it boggled the mind. Here we have the presumed Republican nominee, a twenty plus year veteran of the Senate; a man who has spent considerable time crafting his "maverick" image while totally pissing conservatives off, just to make sure he has enough face time. It's an easy trail to follow that every time the camera dimmed on the man, he was looking for the next opportunity to get his face out there at the expense of the core of his own party. And please, I know he was a POW, and I'm proud that he did at least one thing noble in his career. Of course, it was probably the result of his mediocre flying skills that almost got him booted out of Pensacola NAS until the admiral pulled some strings to graduate him; but I digress. That is another story for another time.
So McCain has been a shameless self-promoter who'll even slap the elephant on the butt for a photo op. This kind of ego serving led him to hitch his wagon to Russ Feingold's star. Russ Feingold, the Wisconsin Democratic Senator, who in his fifteen year Senate tenure has never ONCE voted against the party line on ANY issue. If ever there was a party hack who would mindlessly follow whatever his party's is - Feingold's your man. So John McCain pimps out the party line, and goes to the dark side in the much ballyhooed McCain / Feingold legislation, laughingly called Campaign Finance Reform. This little nation-altering jewel has allowed the flourishing of the influx of soft money into politics and creation of mega 503C organizations of which Move On.org is probably the biggest behemoth. Move On.org is financed by none other than the rich-beyond-belief George Soros, who, after a failed attempt to get the inventor of the internet, Al Gore elected, has created a hand crafted, " I am all things to all people" pretty boy from a junior Senator with almost no background, who, at the time of his metamorphesis, was only in the Senate 150 days.
One thing we have learned about the secretive heir-apparent to the Democratic nomination, is that he has ties to more than a few dubious anti-American characters in this charade he's playing. The most noteworthy of them is of course Frank Marshall Davis, the beloved "Frank" in Obama's book, Dreams From My Father. What Barry forgot to mention about Frank in his book was that while Frank was mentoring the young Obama in Honolulu, he was a card carrying communist in the American Communist party, which was known to get its money and its marching orders directly from Moscow. Frank was just the first in a long line of dubious anti-American types, so you can't tell me that he was not influenced by his youthful indoctrination into Marxism. Of course, Hussein won't talk about Frank Marshall Davis, but one can bet it helped shaped his political leanings quite a bit left of center. Who knows? Only Obama, but if McCarthy were alive, he'd have a field day with this guy!
So, John McCain is brutally tortured by the VC, and forced against his will to say humiliating things about his country. The playboy comes home a hero, and lands a windfall in the Washington "all eyes on me" club. In his search for an ego massage, he makes a deal with the devil in McCain / Feingold, which creates the Soros machine, which in turn molds the angelic Barack Obama, communist collaborator, who is now beating the ex-POW naval war hero by almost eight points in the polls so far.
If John were here, I'd tell him that his shortsidedness created this monster. McCain almost single-handedly created the phenomenon that is Barack Hussein Obama, who may very well sit in the Oval office. I'd tell him that, John, your narrow vision, shortsidedness, and search for personal fame may have single-handedly handed over the White House to the very same mindset that held you captive in Vietnam. I'd finish the conversation by telling him lack of vision like that is a type of stupidity; and we know from almost sixteen years personal experience that stupidity has no place in the Oval office.
I hope the irony of it all is not lost in the clutter of history. It may be our undoing.

My intro and a thought to the Wordsmiths of the world
Some of you may recognize my name. That may have been what brought you to my site. If you are unfamiliar with me, I have been an avid blogger for many years on many sites. I have made many controversial comments. Some I am proud of; some I’m embarrassed about. Oh well. Such is the human condition.
Over time I hope to at least weekly address issues that are of importance to regular Americans, and for that matter, level-headed people throughout the blogosphere. Now, I’m not going to present news stories. There are a million people better at that than I am, and I don’t want to be a witty pseudo-intellectual pseudo-journalist. I think that horse has been ridden quite enough. What I would like to accomplish with my prose is to give the world a view of itself through the eyes of someone who is no one special. That’s me; no one special to you. I’m special enough to my God, Mrs. Pax, my children, my dog and my cat (Ok. Maybe I’m just hired help to the cat.) that I am secure in myself without the exterior validation. It is my sincere hope that once all of us Baby Boomers are gone, that someone will look back and find at least some snippets of wisdom to allow the country that I love so very much to continue.
With the pleasantries now dispensed, I’d like to address some of the incendiary phrases or words that adversaries have used (incorrectly, I might add) to pigeon hole me and others like me into the perceived lunatic fringe. Many of you have probably had these words hurled at you in either the verbal or written form at one time or another. I’d like to answer each one individually, and offer some instruction to those who like to fling these linguistic “Molotov cocktails” willy nilly…..
Racist. This is probably the most brain-disengaged, mouth-opened inflammatory word used in the English or any other language. Screaming it aloud or dropping it like a bomb in a sentence is used strategically to close the minds of the witless to the merits of what the person was trying to purvey. It is meant to label myself and others as a narrow person, who hates another person solely based upon the amount of melanin in someone’s skin, or other specific characteristic. I found its use amusing, as the perpetrator of the noxious condiment had no idea that I have a black brother-in-law that I dearly love, and who cares for me as well. The term “racist” contains of course the word race, and the almost never correctly used suffix “ist”. This word should actually be defined as, “one who hates racing”, or “one who hates Nascar”. Well, you get the idea. If one is trying to portray another as a person who hates another just because of the color of that person’s skin, then shouldn’t the correct term be “melaninist”? And what about people who hate Semites because of their purported big noses? Shouldn’t they be called, “physiologists?” If that’s the case, then The AMA had better start recredentialing doctors now! It’s that blasted suffix “ist” folks! It’s confusing. I’ve been called a creationist (even though I’m not) which I now have to surmise means “one who hates creation.” Likewise, a Darwinist would be a person who hates Darwinism. I have made public my disdain for Islam and all it stands for, and have been labeled a racist on more than one occasion. Islam is a race now? Who knew? These geniuses need to call me by what I am – a “theist”; a person who abhors a theological line of thought. By the way, word flingers, please, even though I have no racial hatred for anyone, please refer to me as a melaninist. You’ll sound just as silly, but at least you’ll be closer to your own presupposed ideas about me.
Homophobe. Until recently there was actually no such word, even though it is incorrectly used to indicate a person who has a phobia against homosexuality. Homophobia would technically be defined as, “an irrational fear of one’s self”. Actually, the gay community might just want to stick with “gay” because in this context a homosexual is a person who has sex with them self, which conjures up uncomfortable mental images. But then, we already know that you who are gay are confused…at least genetically…don’t we? You can’t call me “homoloathic” because I don’t hate myself. I love me. Besides, a phobia is an irrational fear. I don’t know of one person who is against the gay agenda that is afraid of gays. Embarrassed, ashamed, or appalled maybe, but never afraid. Do me a favor, just call me intolerant, or a gay basher, or some other incendiary term that actually exists. Just remember, if you’re gay, I’m praying for you.
Which brings me to my final two words: intolerant and bigot. Intolerant is used way too much. It means unwilling to tolerate or endure. I guess my questions to those linguistic terrorists and wordsmiths out there is this: at exactly what point did it become ALL bad to be intolerant? My dog is intolerant of baths. She still gets them, but I’m not going to shoot her in the head or send her to the pound because she is intolerant of them. A zookeeper doesn’t feed the penguins to the lions just because they are intolerant of the heat. So exactly, just what is your point for slinging this word about? You have no tolerance for me (well, some of you smart people reading do). Aren’t you “intolerant” of me? Actually, for being so intolerant, I have never touched a hair on a leftist-liberal-loony-amoral-socialists head. To me that sounds rather…tolerant.
And of course the word bigot. It rolls off the tongue with such venom nowadays, that the purveyor can be a total lying whack-job and it’s too late- the damage has been done. A bigot is defined as “one who is strongly partial to one’s own group, religion, race, or politics, and is intolerant of those who differ”. Hmmmm. So let’s say I’m a green person walking towards two crowds; one purple and one green. I have to go to one. I know that if I choose the purple crowd, then I’m just being PC; a poser; a token. But, by this very definition, if I go with my natural gravitation towards my own kind, I have actually shunned the purple-folk, thus deserving the moniker, “you leaf-skinned bigot!” being hurled at me. Do you see how silly that is? Let me give you another example; If I want mandatory punishment for pedophiles, I am a bigot against pedophilia. I have no tolerance for it. Is that a bad thing? Now I’m not saying that there aren’t true bigots out there, but that some of you word terrorists have watered down its use quite a bit to the point that its use is shrugable at best.
So, before you linguistic rock-throwers start hurling your poorly crafted, ill-defined descriptive adjectives and phrases in the comments section, could you do me a favor? Could you please include a legend of exactly what you are trying to convey with the use of any of the aforementioned words, because your conflicting meanings are confusing this poor little homowhateveric-melaninist-intolerant-bigotted-theist.
